Key Player Uncertainty Looms Over Round 10 Due to Leg Injury; Questions Arise About Titans’ Core Lineup

Spine Injury

In the upcoming Round 10 of the National Rugby League, several teams are facing lineup changes due to injuries and delayed returns. The Parramatta Eels have announced a delayed injury comeback for back-rower Bryce Cartwright, who was slated to return from a rib injury but was cut from the team close to the game against Brisbane Broncos. Scheduled to play at the CommBank Stadium on Friday evening, the Eels will replace Cartwright with Brendan Hands and have also shifted Junior Paulo to the bench, with Joe Ofahengaue set to start.

The Newcastle Knights have confirmed that prop Jacob Saifiti will not be part of the squad due to a leg injury, with expectations of his return being set for Round 11. The Knights are set to face off against Wests Tigers on Saturday at Accor Stadium. The Tigers have good news, as Apisai Koroisau is eyed for a comeback after missing the previous week due to hip spasms.

St George Illawarra Dragons have indicated that Luciano Leilua will miss the game against South Sydney Rabbitohs this Saturday at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium because of a calf injury, but he is anticipated to rejoin in Round 12 after the bye. The Rabbitohs will see Dion Teaupa and Matt French making their NRL debuts, while Gehamat Shibasaki makes his club debut.
