NJ Spine & Ortho Welcomes Dr. Steven Schiebert, Renowned NJ Surgeon

NJ Spine & Orthopedic is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Steven Schiebert to our team of spine care experts as a board-certified New Jersey orthopedic surgeon with over a decade of experience.

His many dedicated years of treating back and neck pain and performing minimally invasive spine surgery both in the United States and internationally will make him a well-rounded addition to the team.

Dr. Schiebert will continue NJ Spine & Orthopedic’s commitment to guiding patients towards the best solutions for treating neck and back pain. He will diagnose and treat conditions while assisting patients throughout the journey toward better spine health.

Dr. Schiebert brings to the table comprehensive experience in the area of orthopedic spine surgery and patient care within the three major parts of the spine —cervical, thoracic and lumbar.

He has expertly performed numerous types of minimally invasive procedures including disc replacement, spinal fusion and laminoforaminotomy to eliminate back pain due to commonly-occurring conditions such as disc degeneration, herniated discs, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and pinched nerves, among others.

A graduate of Brown University’s Spine and Orthopedic Program, Dr. Schiebert earned certifications from the American College of Surgeons in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He has previous spine care experience at Advanced Orthopedics & Joint Preservation in Valley Stream, NY and Sunrise Medical in Staten Island, NY.

Dr. Schiebert’s treatment philosophy is to avoid extensive operative procedures and instead provide each patient the best possible treatment by seeking minimally invasive solutions that will achieve the most successful outcomes.

With the combination of this philosophy, his expert orthopedic surgical skills and experience on an international level, the addition of Dr. Schiebert will make a significant contribution to the team’s vision of being a global leader in minimally invasive orthopedic care.

Our orthopedic surgeons and medical staff are confident his skills and expertise in treating conditions with minimally invasive surgery techniques will lead to impactful contributions towards orthopedic surgery standards and at NJ Spine & Orthopedic. It’s a privilege to have him on board as NJ Spine & Orthopedic continues to uphold our 98% surgery success rate coupled with compassionate spine care.
